My mum was not only my support, but also my inspiration. When she became seriously ill, she began to struggle with sensitive skin. Her skin was thin as paper that conventional sponges or flannels regularly injured and damaged it. This was very painful for her and made her care a daily challenge for both of us.
Normal gloves were not enough to protect her skin, so I looked for a solution. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one. So I started to think about how I could develop a soft, comfortable and waterproof solution for simple cat washing. After my mum died, I swore to myself that I wanted to help everyone with the same problem and that I wouldn't give up until I found a solution.
Today, I am proud to have accomplished this task. The STANJACARE High 5 gloves are the result of this journey. They are specially designed to protect sensitive skin and make care easier. Now I am working on a new product to continue supporting people in similar situations.
The development of STANJACARE High 5 gloves
Months of research, development and testing were necessary to perfect the STANJACARE High 5 gloves. Thanks to this intensive work, we are now able to present our double-layer gloves. The double layer allows you to place a washing sponge and soap between the layers so that you can wash safely and protect sensitive skin. The top layer of paper fleece is particularly soft and comfortable, making it suitable for all skin types.
After the first prototype, I registered the gloves with the Austrian Patent Office and received the Austrian patent certificate a year later. I managed to have the STANJACARE High 5 gloves produced in China so that our product could also be offered at a low price. Our gloves were tested in the laboratory for months and awarded the 0P2 licence from proficert.cz. It was an instructive process.
I firmly believe that my mum would be proud of me and would be delighted with the STANJACARE High 5 gloves. Her legacy lives on in this product and it is my goal to improve the lives of many people facing similar challenges.
The gift of love
Our history shows that care is not only essential for survival, but also a gift of love. If we can bring love and security to the care of our loved ones, that is the greatest reward we can receive. My mum suffered a lot with her illness and sensitive skin. She often said, "If I can't wash myself, I don't even want to be in my body anymore." These words touched me deeply and motivated me to find a solution that would help her and others in similar situations.
